The Big 1-0-0!!!! MONSTER GIVEAWAY 100 GOODIES!!!

Well I'm up to my 100th post. I can't honestly say I don't know how I have managed to write 100 posts because really, I can talk under water! I talk while punching a boxing bag at the gym. I talk while typing, I talk, talk, talk..... a lot!!! So if I didn't reach 100 posts it would be strange!

I think back to my first post, where I was nervous and new to this whole thing. I wondered if anyone would actually read my blog. Or want to read my blog, people who didn't know me or people who weren't family and therefore obligated to read it!

I started out blogging after my sweet friend Holly told me I simply must start a blog. She said it was a lot of fun. I wondered where I would find the time.... and wondered what was a blog anyway? What do you write? Who would want to read it? What are they all about? She said a blog is like a magazine without all the ads in between. Well, that sold me. I went visiting the blogs on her blogroll and got lost in a world of creative people that I never knew existed! I clicked on more and more and more and suddenly it was 3am and way past bed time. So that's how my little ole blog started... and it's such a fun part of what I do. I love meeting people and have made some wonderful friendships along the way. The whole idea of 'swapping' was new to me too.... lots of doors have opened for me thanks to blogging....

So as a way to say thanks to YOU, the person who has made time to sit for a minute to read my blog when you really should be getting dressed, or going out, or doing dinner, I would love to have another giveaway! But this time a MONSTER one!!!

Leave a comment on this post only to enter. I'd love to hear about how you started blogging! Of course, it isn't mandatory to tell me and it won't enhance your chances of winning but will just give me an insight into your ideas!

***NOTE!!! PLEASE leave a way for me to contact you!
Leaving an anonymous comment won't work!!!! If you don't have a blog to link back to I'll need an email address. Everyone is welcome to enter, if you have a blog or not. And YES I definitely will post internationally, seeing that 90% of my blog friends are not from Australia anyway!!!

The prize will be a package of 100 Mystery Goodies!!! Yes, ONE HUNDRED of them!!! They'll be made up of some things from my website like cards, tags, bookmarks and also things like trims, lace, papers, buttons, fabric pieces, beads and lots more!!! AND I'll email the winner to find out favourite colour preferences etc and put the package together as best I can to suit you, the winner!!! How does that sound?

Like I mentioned previously, I'm away next week. So I will draw the winner on October 9th. Lots of time to enter!!! Get those entries in now!!!!

Have a great rest-of-the-week,

Natasha xo

Well I'm new to this blogging world and decided to pitch in after realizing that every other crafty person is on it. Needed to share my 2 cents with the rest of the world.

  5. Natasha, It has been 100 wonderful posts and you get brownie points for everyone our little gem Leroy is in!!! I began blogging this spring after a total knee replacement and 2 car accidents left me home and unable to work or return to classes to complete my bachelors degree! I felt out of touch and spent time on the computor looking at all sorts of things! One day I was searching on google for roses and came across a picture of a home. I clicked on the home and came across, sadly I can't remember whos site my first encounter with "blogspot.com"! Well I clicked on her side bar, then another! Finally after two months I became brave and made my own! It's pink, frilly and has been fun. But most of all I have 4 new best of best friends whom make my days and many more friends who love pink and a beautiful home! My life is longer just days of pain and hateing my circumstances, chronic back pain! My days included comments, emails, laughs, and happiness! This September 13th I had my best ever birthday in 48 years thanks to my wonderful new friends! Blogging has become a lifesaver and an enrichmnet into my life! Love, Lori

Hope I can be that lucky person... I am still new to the world of blogging and it is both scary and fun... before I started I could think of tons of things to write about.. now I have writers block lol... go figure! I started doing it because I too spent a lot of time reading others and I have always had a love for the written word whether reading it or writing it...such a joy...

Taking adventures ..like little mini vacations to far way places through internet blogging has become a favorite thing for me to do when I need down time...

  35. Congratulations! 100 posts is quite a milestone!!

I've been blogging on the current reincarnation of my blog since April 2006. Partly I blog to keep my family (interstate and overseas) up to date with what's going on in my life; partly I blog to try and be a better writer; but mostly I blog because I absolutely love to write (and take piccies too!!!!!). I am continually inspired by all the wonderful, creative blogs out there - yours included! And now, with 100 posts under your belt, you're a true blue seasoned blogger!! :)

Would love to be entered in your giveaway! (But I guess that goes without saying!!)!

  41. I started blogging to get my business started. A tea business where women would be encouraged to get together and be supportive toward one another through hospitality.
I feel women are quit isolated from face to face contact with each other. Yes, internet is great. I've met women form all over the world which I would never have been able to do w/o the internet, HOWEVER, no amount of ether can make up for sharing time with friends over a hot steaming cup of tea where you can laugh with each other and wipe away any tears.
Blogs are a wonderful way of reaching out, sharing and leaving a bit of yourself around the world so that someone out there knows you existed beyond the leaves and branches of your family tree.
I also use my blog to keep the writing part of my brain from shriveling up and blowing away.
I may be reached at www.melissabishop.com
    a.k.a.
    Melissa's Cozy Teacup
Stop by, say, 'hi', share a cup of tea with me and some ether. Maybe one day we'll have tea together in my kitchen, while sharing secrets.

I don't have a blog, although Donna from Under the Red Roof is working on me. If I start one, it will be to her credit... or pounding, whichever word is more appropriate. :) hehe.

If my name is drawn, can you subtract one thing and add an autographed picture of your pink Justin boots?!? They went from here in Ft. Worth all the way to Australia to become famous with you... and a picture of them could come all the way back to me with your autograph ;) (I'm such a ham, aren't I?) hehe.

PS - Congrats on your 100, I really love your blog, your enthusiasm, your sense of humor, teaching me about the Kangas of course, hehe, and your creativity is amazing. Thanks for sharing so much with all of us, and thanks to Holly for inspiring you to get started! :)

Blogging is truly a wonderful way to connect with people all over the world, about any topic you could think of; it's great for finding inspiration, too!

  86. Congratulations, Natasha! I'm glad you started blogging, yours is a favorite of mine. I love the fact that I have a friend all the way across the world!

I started blogging before I had even read many or looked through more than a couple. I had NO IDEA how many there were and how wonderful they are! I am hooked and am already about to my 200th post! (but somehow, I doubt if I will be giving away 200 presents)

  88. Hi Natasha, I cannot comment on having a blog, because I do not have one. However, yours and many other people who have commented on this list have inspired me to maybe get my buttox into gear and start one. Don't think it will be as interesting as yours though. You did get me started up with my website though, so I am half way there. Please enter me into your giveaway and can anybody tell me how I can add a little cute picture on the side? Congratulations on your 100th post! Petah xo

  89. Hi Natasha!
Congrats on your 100th!! This week I started my first blog ever! And this is my first entry ever!! I've decided to go blogging to meet some (a lot of) interesting artistic people (women) who love vintage/home decorating/crafting like me. I love vistiting blogs and that's what made me started. I'm at the stage of "YES I have one visitor" and "YES, someone from outside" .
I was looking for inspiration for my next entry, just found out that I'm too late to join Karla's home party, but that doesn't stop me from posting a few pictures "what a like about my home". NowI discover your party "let's celebrate 100 entries". Life should be full of these celebrations and I hope you'll reach 150 in no time! And then organise a prize party too of course ;-).
Now I'm of to see your home. Wishing you all the best, personally and with your blog. Enjoy!!
    Love LiLi M.

  92. Wow that was a lot of comments to wad through! Congrat's on your 100th post! I would love to enter your drawing. I have been blogging now for a year and 2 months! I really can't remember how it started though! ha ha. I am terrible! I think it was something "to do" at the time. I remember the frustration at loosing my blog a couple of times and having to start all over again, the frustration of learning HTML code, but it was all worth it! At first it was mainly just a digital blog-to post my digital scrap booking pages, and keep track of my digi buddies but then I found a whole new world in the creative side ( I think Kari-artsymama-was one of the first) and that also opened up a whole new side to life for me! It has been great! Have a great day! Bonnie

  107. I iniatally started 2 blogs before, but they did not pan out cause I either forgot my log in or did not quite understand it all. Then my friend Laura said it would help boost my Etsy shop, so I dug in! Even my hubby is impressed with how it turned out and is sometimes jealous that I out do the family web page. I like blogging cause it gives me a chance to ramble, show off my art or just talk about everyday happenings in my art or with family. I'm guilty to say, that when friends and family ask about how a particular event went, I just tell them to visit my blog!
I love all the blog friends I've made and all the inspiration I've gathered along the way. I love the swaps, the finding of local artist and everything in between!

I married an Australian 7 months ago, and moved to Australia. I love to craft and bake and keep a home...so I'm having a ball finding other blogs about my interests. I hope you will visit my blog!

  122. Natasha!

Congratulations on 100 posts! I LOVE your blog! You are such a creative person. Very inspiring!

I started blogging because I had gotten addicted to reading them. I kept thinking to myself "I would really like to have a blog too". Sometimes, days go by before I post a new message, and I struggle with having things to say, but I really love having it.

We are a retired military family, so it is a great way for our friends and family to see what's going on in our little corner of the world.

Your drawing sounds amazing! Good luck to everyone!

I started blogging after reading Amy of Inspireco's blog! When I read her blog, as well as Posy Get's Cozy, I just "Got it!" and said, "Well gee whiz...I can do that!" LOL That's how I started. Late at night I'd get deeper and deeper in blog layers, like peeling an onion that never gets to the center! I'm loving every blog, and once again, YOU ROCK!

  131. Hi honey, congrats on reaching 100 posts! I started my blog while I was suffering through cancer, I was just about to have a liver resection and thought that it'd be a good way to keep occupied and keep positive whilst recovering from that, and it has been. I haven't really gone where I intend to go with it yet but it's a start and I love getting comments and meeting new folk such as yourself. Take care, and please continue blogging as you really have a wonderful site. xx

  132. Whew! I am waaay late finding this page .. I have been in and out of your blog in the past, never knowing where I am coming from or going to in my blog hopping, but enjoying them all in my travels.

I began when a group of Teddy Talk members decided we should all start a blog. Most of them fell by the wayside after an entry or two..but I enjoyed mine and really loved finding so many other bear, doll and crafty creation bloggers out there. Eyes dry and tired and still clicking away at 2:00 am. some days; just perusing and genuinely enjoying so much information; so many beautiful creations, and so many "pink" blogs... maybe I should opt for some more girlie colours on mine..... .... lol .

A 100 items! Wow. Such a generous giftie... oh, oh.... I better ramp up my ideas for my 100th post...

  135. Natasha,
Congratulations on your 100th post. I love checking in once and a while for great inspiration.

I "blog" in a roundabout way. Mostly I post content in relation to videos that I share online. I started after a conversation I had with a person at an art event. I told her that I was going to start podcasting. Well, I had been thinking about it, but that conversation committed me to it. Now, I am almost to my year anniversary.

    Congratulations again!

  141. Congratulations on your 100th post! I am new to the blogging community and got started just this past August. I began a blog for several reasons, as a creative outlet, to connect with others I might never have met due to geographical location, as a way to keep up my writing exercises, as a way to share my faith, to encourage and inspire others as well as to be inspired and encouraged. I have found this to be a fun and rewarding pursuit and met so many creative and nice people. A great plus for me has been how proud my family is of me for learning all sorts of new things about my fancy camera and laptop! I'm a pen and paper kind of gal and am technologically challanged to say the least so blogging for me has also been a real learning and growing experience.

  154. Natasha, you had posted on my artful blogging party post...then I moved and started renovating so I'm just now getting back to all those sweet comments. Congrats on 100 posts. That's great.

I started bogging in the middle of writing my honor senior thesis in college. I was enjoying writing about education so much that I decided to start a blog where I could continue writing thoughts on education...but I'm also an artist and after I long day at school I'm finding that I don't want to write much about school, so I got hooked in with the blog art world and started combining education and art stuff on my blog. And now that more people know about my blog I'm thinking I need to switch to wordpress so I can protect posts about school...but that's another day.

    Beautiful stuff here!
