Once Upon A Dream

 

Ok so I have over 3,000 photos from our trip and it has been so daunting to know where to start sharing and what to narrow it down to!  So I’ll start with Jenn’s Once Upon A Dream Art Event in Asheville, that I was honoured to be an instructor at.

The classes all went beautifully, the ladies made some amazing things. I especially loved when the ladies put their own take on the project I taught, there were some really cool versions!

Apologies if I do double up! It’s hard to narrow down the selection!

It was my 2nd trip to the States and I was so excited to be able to meet up again with friends I had met last time, and been in contact with for several years now.

The whole event was magical, dreamy, and perfect.  There were tears of joy, laughter, squealing, dancing and great food. (Oh, and cocktails!)

I’ve skipped pics on Biltmore Estate – mine weren’t fantastic – you’ll find great ones on Jenn’s blog.

Claxton Farms

Divine workshop day at Claxton Farms.  The dream fairies got up early and got very busy setting up this wonderland.  Isn’t it divine!!!??

Details details…. everywhere you looked, it was dreamy!

This is the huge banner I painted for the event – it was so big I had to move both cars out of the carport to paint it on the ground!

It was so bittersweet – amazing seeing old friends again, but knowing it was coming to an end, and not knowing when or if I’ll see many of them again

But I had the Dr Seuss quote going through my head

“Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.”

Thank you to my fairy friends, from the bottom of my heart.
