Ok so I have over 3,000 photos from our trip and it has been so daunting to know where to start sharing and what to narrow it down to! So I’ll start with Jenn’s Once Upon A Dream Art Event in Asheville, that I was honoured to be an instructor at.
The classes all went beautifully, the ladies made some amazing things. I especially loved when the ladies put their own take on the project I taught, there were some really cool versions!
You will find beautiful photos and stories on the official event blog HERE, please take a look there too. The pics below are mine and I’m trying not to double up on the official ones taken by Tiffany of The Fancy Farmgirl Photography. Apologies if I do double up! It’s hard to narrow down the selection!
It was my 2nd trip to the States and I was so excited to be able to meet up again with friends I had met last time, and been in contact with for several years now.
The whole event was magical, dreamy, and perfect. There were tears of joy, laughter, squealing, dancing and great food. (Oh, and cocktails!)
I’ve skipped pics on Biltmore Estate – mine weren’t fantastic – you’ll find great ones on Jenn’s blog.

It was so bittersweet – amazing seeing old friends again, but knowing it was coming to an end, and not knowing when or if I’ll see many of them again ![]()
But I had the Dr Seuss quote going through my head
“Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.”
Thank you to my fairy friends, from the bottom of my heart.
